1920s Carousel Horses
The Foundation's stable has grown considerably since we acquired our first horse, Buddy, in 2000. Each horse is represented by a number that indicates her/his proposed position on her/his particular row on the carousel. Each horse also has a name, for a carousel horse cannot have a soul unless it has a name.

Inner-Row Horses (12 total)
These horses are those on the innermost ring, or that ring closest to the
centre pole, of the carousel. They are the smallest as they are on the smallest
ring of the carousel.
Middle-Row Horses (10 total)
These horses are those on the middle ring of the carousel. They are medium
sized.
Outer-Row Horses (10 total)
These horses are those on the outermost ring, or that ring furthest from the
centre pole, of the carousel. They are the largest as they are the on the
largest ring of the carousel.
Spares and Half-Size
For each row of horses, we have to have more than enough so that we can have
a full carousel even when a horse needs to undergo maintenance. When not on
the carousel, the "spares" will be prominently displayed. We are
also making half-size horses of a select number of patterns. The half-size
horses will be used for promotion and are available for purchase.
